Articles published mostly in the 21st century, plus other resources, compiled by Dean Radin

The term denotes anomalous processes of information or energy transfer, processes such as telepathy or other forms of extrasensory perception that are currently unexplained in terms of known physical or biological mechanisms. The term is purely descriptive: It neither implies that such anomalous phenomena are paranormal nor connotes anything about their underlying mechanisms. (Daryl Bem and Charles Honorton in Psychological Bulletin, 1994)

Predictive physiological anticipation preceding seemingly unpredictable stimuli

This meta-analysis of 26 reports published between 1978 and 2010 tests an unusual hypothesis: for stimuli of two or more types that are presented in an order designed to be unpredictable and that produce different post-stimulus physiological activity, the direction of pre-stimulus physiological activity reflects the direction of post-stimulus physiological activity, resulting in an unexplained anticipatory effect.

Supernormal

“A smart reminder that we haven’t got the whole scene covered – look at quantum mechanics – and that openness is more fruitful than seclusion in dogma.” ~ Kirkus Reviews

“An admirable attempt to bridge the gap between the scientific and the spiritual realm by focusing on a common desire for self- and societal improvement.” ~ Publisher's Weekly

The End of Materialism

In this book, transpersonal psychologist Charles Tart presents over fifty years of scientific research conducted at the nation's leading universities that proves humans do have natural spiritual impulses and abilities. The End of Materialism presents an elegant argument for the union of science and spirituality in light of this new evidence, and explains why a truly rational viewpoint must address the reality of a spiritual world.

Ganzfeld Psi Performance Within an Artistically Gifted Population

ESP Ganzfeld study with exceptional population, students from Juilliard School in New York City. Twenty undergraduate Juilliard students each served as a receiver in a single telepathy Ganzfeld session. Juilliard students achieved a significant success rate of 50%, double the chance of expectation. Students of music demonstrated the most outstanding performance; six of the eight musicians obtained direct hits or 75%. As a group, the Juilliard students' performance was significantly superior to the PRL general population.

"The Noetic Science behind 'The Lost Symbol' book" with Daryl Bem

Daryl Bem, PhD, Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Cornell University, has published on several diverse topics in psychology, including psi (ESP), attitudes and public opinion, group decision making, self-perception, personality theory, and sexual orientation. In this teleseminar, he provides an insightful overview of psi research, definitions, and experiments.

"Correlations, Consciousness, and the GCP" with Roger Nelson (extended Q&A)

The Global Consciousness Project (GCP) is a long-term experiment that extends psi research to global dimensions, looking for effects of mass consciousness. We predict that events which produce widely shared emotional reactions will register as unexpected structure in random data sequences. The GCP is associated with the Institute of Noetic Sciences, which has provided its logistical home since 1998.
